Built in 1908, the Casino de Montbenon enjoys a unique location in Lausanne. Just five minutes on foot from the city centre (place St-François), set amidst magnificent gardens with an unparalleled view of the mountains and the lake, it was renovated in 1981 and transformed into a centre for cultural and social events. Contrary to what its name might suggest, the Casino de Montbenon has never accommodated gaming rooms.
